April Reno Update

Answers to Prayer:

John was able to visit the village of Nazare this month and was able to give out close to 300 copies of the book of Romans and more than 30 New Testaments! One day a man met him at the Center in Salinas inquiring about the booklets that had been handed out in Nazare!

– We have been given a brand new copier, printer, scanner for the Library. Please pray with us for its duty-free, safe arrival.

– Hannah was able to start teaching Bible and English to four classes of fourth graders at a school here in Salinas. Most Wednesdays she has contact with 95 or more students ranging in age from 9-14. Helene, one of our teen girls helps her by listening to memory verses, grading papers etc.

Dear Praying Friends,

March has been a very busy but useful month! As we look towards April we ask that you pray much for John and Fernanda’s trip to Brasilia about her visa. The process is quite involved, but necessary of course for them to be able to come to the States for furlough this summer. If you would like to contact them directly about a visit this summer, please e-mail them at JohninSal@yahoo.com.br .

January 19th both Robynn and Hannah passed the driving test for a motorcycle license. This is required by Brazilian law to be able to drive the scooter we have recently purchased. Unlike the States, you do not receive your license the day you pass the test, but are told to wait for it to come to the nearest Department of Motor Vehicles. We are still waiting for the licenses to be delivered. Please pray with us that they will soon come, so that we can be free to use the scooter

April is missions emphasis month at El-Shadai. We are looking forward to hearing from each of the three missionaries the church supports. Please pray with us for the Lord to further challenge hearts.

Love,

The Renos in Brazil

This year we had an extra small group for Camp Inside during Carnival – 5 teens plus helpers. We were thankful for the time together, as well as the experience for Dani, our Institute student who worked with Robynn in the planning. Another blessing was to hear each of the teens freely sharing what they had learned from that day’s chapter from Proverbs. Thanks so much for praying!
